It is hard to believe that the end of the season is here already. It is always kind of sad when the mountain closes, but this weekend will be sure to meet all expectations. Looks like we have great weather in the forecast and the events and activities this weekend will be endless. Just Saturday and Sunday alone, the Steamboat Ski Resort Corporation will be hosting “Springalicious” which will include two very fun events mixed in with some great music too.
Cornerstone events for the weekend include Saturday’s 28th Annual Cardboard Classic, which has become a spring staple in Steamboat Springs (cardboard crafts are driven down the mountain by enthusiastically dresses teams) and Sunday’s new event the SPLASHDOWN pond skimming competition.
